The Case Study
The Idea
During the pandemic, drive-thru visits became a way of life, accounting for 44% of all restaurant business. So, Visit North Carolina decided to get in on the trend and open a few drive-thrus of their own.
Introducing drive-thru vacations – contactless adventures visitors could sample from the safety of their car.
The Creative
This is an idea I concepted proactively and brought to the client without an actual assignment. They loved it. I served as Group Creative Director on this project along with Jon Cain. Hadley Hopkins was the copywriter, Josh Taguiam was the Art Director and Jordon Ramos was the website content writer. We developed posters for North Carolina Welcome Centers, social posts and gained exposure through several news stories featuring this campaign.

With no paid media budget, this effort earned 3 million organic impressions, including quite a few new stories as well as high engagement in social.
